KATSALLEY YOGA

Yoga, somatic movement, and sound for the body you have today.

Kat Kelley-Chung

For 25 years, I’ve watched people heal injuries, steady their nervous systems, and come back home to themselves on the mat. My classes blend everything I’ve studied along the way into practices that meet you where you are.

Taking care of yourself is a public service. I’m here to help you do it.

New: Yin + Crystal Bowl Sound Bath

Thursdays, 9:00–10:15 am · Savage Mill and live on Zoom
Slow, deep Yin postures held inside the sound of crystal singing bowls. Only 15 spots in the room.

IN-PERSON | Thursday Morning Yin + Crystal Bowl Sound Bath
$30.00

What if Thursday morning became the quietest part of your week?

This intimate 75-minute practice combines slow, somatic-inspired Yin with the immersive resonance of crystal singing bowls. We’ll move gently, settle deeply, and create space to listen—not just to the sound around us, but to the subtle intelligence of the body.

The first half of class invites you into supported Yin postures, mindful breathing and embodied awareness. As the body becomes quieter, we transition into an extended crystal bowl sound bath.

The layered tones and harmonics of the bowls create an immersive sensory experience that helps to quiet the busy mind, shift brainwave activity toward more relaxed states, and invite the nervous system into deeper rest.

Set within the historic Savage Mill in a beautiful, naturally lit studio, this is a chance to step away from the pace of the week before the day fully begins.

No previous experience with Yin or sound baths is necessary.

“(Kat’s) freedom flow …will elevate your mind, body and soul. … after only a few classes my neck has completely healed without a single knot left standing. my whole body feels lighter, stronger and free of tension. the benefits and results of freedom flow are like none other.”

“On a recent Sunday morning, I lay in bed debating whether to go to an early morning Bikram class. I knew I would feel great after class, but I was having trouble motivating. Then I remembered that the teacher Kat, who always says at some point during class – thank you for coming to class, taking care of yourself is a public service – So I pushed myself to get out of bed, not necessarily for myself that day but because taking good care of myself is an important thing to do for others. Thanks for the special motivation, Kat!

“(Kat) Thank you for your presence in the yoga room. It has pulled me back to my practice when I’ve wanted to quit. At 50, it’s sometimes hard to be inspired, but you have a way of touching my soul. 💙
