Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of my participation in the Heat, Heal & Honor Your Heart Winter Retreat, held by Casa Om and their staff, AChungPhoto, YogaKat LLC, and Yogalicias, I represent and agree as follows:

Medical Examination and Clearance: I affirm that I am 18 years or older and have completed a medical examination by a licensed physician within six months prior to my participation. I confirm it is my sole responsibility, in consultation with my physician, to determine my fitness and ability to participate in the activities offered during this retreat. Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability: I acknowledge that yoga, physical activity, and other retreat activities may involve risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional discomfort, or unforeseen events. I voluntarily assume all such risks and hereby release and forever hold harmless [Your Organization/Name], its owners, instructors, managers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, rights, causes of action, judgments, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from my participation in this retreat. Safety Guidelines: I agree to follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by retreat instructors and organizers to ensure the safety and well-being of myself and others. I understand that these guidelines are advisory in nature and cannot guarantee the prevention of injury. Marketing and Media Release: I grant permission for [Your Organization/Name] to capture photographs and videos of me during the retreat for use in marketing, promotional materials, social media, and other forms of communication. I understand that I will not be notified of when or where such images may be used and waive any right to inspect or approve the final product. Acknowledgment of Retreat Nature: I understand that this retreat is intended to provide yoga instruction, wellness activities, and opportunities for relaxation in a group setting. The organizers, instructors, and employees will act in good faith and with commercially reasonable standards to ensure a positive experience. However, I acknowledge that personal results and outcomes may vary. Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks associated with my participation in this retreat, including, but not limited to, risks of physical injury, emotional distress, property damage, or loss. Acknowledgment and Agreement: I affirm that I have carefully read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I agree to sign this document freely and voluntarily, acknowledging that it constitutes a waiver of important legal rights.
